Dr Mohd Shahrun Nawal commenced his practice at KPJ Bandar Maharani effective December 2019. He received his undergraduate training at International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and graduated in 2003. He qualified as orthopaedic surgeon after completing his postgraduate training at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Medical Centre; formerly known as Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) in 2014. He has vast experience as a clinician in managing orthopaedic problems, performing orthopaedic related surgery and has served various hospitals nationwide including Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital (HPSF) in Muar, Putrajaya Hospital, Ampang Hospital, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Medical Centre and Serdang Hospital for the past 15 years. With a keen interest in managing sports related injury and performing arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, he then pursued his training in the field and was awarded with fellowship from Seoul, South Korea in 2019. Dr Mohd Shahrun Nawal was attached with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) as a lecturer in Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences from 2014 until 2019.
