Dr Ang Leng Peow has worked and trained in Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) in Klang, University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Kuala Lumpur Hospital Vascular (HKL Vascular) and Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) in Ipoh; over past 13 years. He completed his Medical Degree at University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS); and Master of Surgery at University of Malaya (UM) and followed by the Postgraduate Master.
He work and trained extensively in general surgery and laparoscopic surgery in HTAR and HRPB. He also further his laparoscopic surgical training in International Medical Center at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam and IRCAD Taiwan (the largest and advanced laparoscopy training center in Asia; which based on the same concept as IRCAD Strasbourg, France). He formally trained in HKL Vascular Surgical Department for arteriovenous fistula (AVF) surgery. He also set up the AVF and Tenkhoff service in HTAR.
He is fully trained general and laparoscopy surgeon with special interest in AVF surgery.

Special interest in general surgery include skin lump, benign & malignant breast disease, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, hernias, gallbladder disease and laparaoscopy surgery. Special interest in vascular surgery include AVF surgery, endo-laser varicose vein surgery. Special interest in paediatric surgery include paediatric surgical emergency, herniotomy, orchidopecxy and circumcision laser haemorrhoid surgery.
